Job Description
The position will integrate the Global Innovation & Emerging Market's financial team and work together with the Business Development group in developing, setting-up and launching new business/innovation initiatives and support the long term business development strategy of Chiquita.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing the financial budgets and forecast for the Global Innovations team at a P&L, balance sheet and cash flow levels. Timely reporting the financial results to regional business management as well as corporate
Enable operational and administrative process owners with the necessary resources to make timely decisions in line with business strategy. Emphasis will be on fostering the understanding of financial drivers and enhancement of sales revenue, control over operational and capital expenditures, and balance sheet management
Support other internal customers like accounting, marketing & others by sharing business perspectives to streamline goals and processes
Special project that will include investments, business development and support, performance improvement and saving initiatives
 
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, REQUIREMENTS
 
A degree in Finance, Economic Sciences, Business Administration, Accounting or related areas. MBA is a plus
A minimum of six years of business analysis/development experience is required, at least three in financial related positions, preferably financial planning and analysis.

Strong ability to lead a team and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams and internal customers gaining their trust and respect
