The Maintenance Manager position is responsible for all aspects of production maintenance, maintenance supply inventories and meeting the overall maintenance budget. The position is also responsible for some projects associated with the processing equipment and facility. Primary job duties include: Manage, lead, and develop a staff of supervisors to ensure timely and accurate repair of equipment within the budget utilizing TPM tools. Provide leadership and training tools for the maintenance department to increase overall maintenance competencies. Create high performance work teams in the maintenance department that will use root cause problem solving methods to resolve issues. Develop a training program for the maintenance technicians. Develop the maintenance department by overseeing hiring, conducting performance reviews, providing coaching and training to staff members. Responsible for improving the parts and planning system. This includes approving parts requisitions for the plant. Responsible for implementing world-class maintenance strategic and tactical solutions to daily production issues. This can be done through communication, planning, execution, PM system development, and capital planning. Accountable for capital project outcome including justifying, budgeting, proposing, negotiating procurement, executing and troubleshooting installations, building, and new processes in a manufacturing environment.
Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of Kronos daily punch detail reports.
Education:
BS/BA degree in engineering or related fields from four-year college or university.
Certification in refrigeration.
Experience:
6-10 years progressive related experience with 3-5 years as a manager.
Requirements:
-Understanding of Inventory management, CMMS system, Mechanical Systems, TPM, Lean Manufacturing.
-Solid Electrical and PLC knowledge; . Ability to communicate throughout the organization in written and verbal form. Proficiency in MS office & AS400 software.
