Job Description-Responsible for all facets of inventory accounting and yield reporting for Salad and Fruit operations.
-Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of finished goods production reporting.
-Responsible for integrity of receipt and inventory information supporting our standard cost system.
-Responsible for supervision and performance of gatekeeper and cycle-counting groups.
-Responsible for analyzing and improving inventory transaction processes, such as receipts, product issued to production lines, case picking/order fulfillment, cycle-counting, transfers, etc.
-Responsible for successful execution of close processes to support financial reporting.
-Responsible for execution of trace-back processes
-Lead cross-functional teams tasked to meet and exceed company customer service and quality objectives. Interface with Scheduling, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping, Accounting, Manufacturing, QA, Food Safety, and Customer Service to design and implement new platform tools increasing operating efficiency.
-Additional ad hoc analysis, tasks, etc. as defined by management.
-Responsible for SOX processes related to production reporting and inventory accounting.
-Responsible for ISO processes related to production reporting and inventory accounting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-Undergraduate degree
-3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Strong leadership, training, cost accounting, analytical & problem solving skills
-Experience applying process improvement methodologies.
-Strong personal computer skills.
-Ability to work nights and weekends as required in a cold environment (34-36 degrees).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-APICS certification
-Formal PI training.
-Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred.
