Job Description
Within the Product Supply group, the Cargo Coordinator provides support of the liner operations with responsibilities that include:- Dispatching and the development of backhaul stowage plans
- Dispatching of bananas and empty containers to support the business
- Oversee and Coordination during vessel load/discharge operations
- Inspections and managing the yard layout
- Coordinate move of cargo
- Preparing and assembling and documentation
- Filing of Documentation as needed
- Ensuring customer orders are filled in a timely manner
- Must be flexible with hours worked due to business demands
- Overtime will be required as business needsEducation:
College degree or equivalent experience is required.Experience:
1-3 years of operations experience in the transportation industry and/or in a terminal setting.The ideal candidate will possess the following:
-Strong communication and organizational skills.
-Strong data entry skills.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
-Knowledge of U.S. Government agencies requirements desired. Salary Grade: F
