Job Description
The Logistics Analyst will be part of a strategic supply chain analysis team, working on dynamic projects to improve and track supply chain performance. Entry level projects will focus on supply chain performance reporting. The Analyst will be responsible for publishing existing metrics, developing additional strategic metrics, summarizing performance for executive managers, and partnering with IT organization to continuously improve and automate reporting processes.
 
Logistics Analysts work heavily with data through spreadsheets and relational databases, but also participate in and lead cross-functional teams to address important business issues.
 
This is an entry level position.
 
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Economics, or other Quantitative fields required
 
Job Requirements:
Candidates should have a solid understanding of statistical principles, including how to quantify and manage uncertainty
Must be proficient in MS Office applications specifically excel
 
Desired Qualifications:
Ideal candidates would also exhibit a passion for the food and agriculture industry.Ideal candidate would have familiarity with Operation's Research and Supply Chain specific subject matter. Must be highly motivated with strong communication skills, in order to drive business process improvements resulting from their analysis.Candidates must be comfortable with a fast-paced and dynamic work setting. Candidates should have a strong interest in supply chain operations, particularly transportation and warehousing
