Job DescriptionResponsible for North America general accounting duties including preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of GL accounts, review of budget/forecast to actual variances, and other accounting functions. Requires good understanding of accounting concepts, ability to analyze information, and knowledge of accounting systems. Position will focus on financial reporting but will also interact and provide support to business units, analysts and other internal customers. Relocation will NOT be provided for this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for timely accurate month-end accounting close and associated tasks. Prepares journal entries (including daily cash transactions), account reconciliations, reviews reserves and accruals, and other general ledger accounting functions. Identifies any potential accounting issues or problems to bring to the attention of supervisor. Develops good working knowledge of accounting systems and assist with suggestions to improve or streamline areas
- Prepares analyses and responds to questions from internal customers. Also assists with information requests for budgets, historical information, and other business and financial needs. Works with analyst groups to explain variances from forecasts and assist with understanding the month-end results. Prepares reports as needed and requested.
- Assists with system development and other related projects and initiatives.

Skilled Required:
-Position requires 1-3 yrs experience in preparation and review of financial statements, as well as thorough understanding of accounting systems, internal controls, process flows, and general

Bachelors required or Associates degree with experience equivalent to Bachelors degree
