Job Description
Entry level marketing role performing a variety of clerical/administrative functions to support the timely execution of marketing plans and projects. This would include some or all of the following: maintains schedules for key marketing projects and tracks expenditures and budgets; updates and adds records to computer databases; coordinates communications with appropriate sales and marketing managers regarding the status of projects and sales materials. Work with IT or other internal departments to complete directives and projects. Responsible for execution and maintenance of social media initiatives, including content editing and management. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
 
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have the following:
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Experience using Twitter and Facebook type mediums to reach consumers
-Ability to multi-task
-Ability to organize and execute projects assigned by manager to their completion
-Ability to apply basic marketing principles and ideals to all projects
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
 
Education:
Minimum High School Diploma; Prefer Marketing or Communications Degree or equivalent experience.
 
Experience:
This position requires at least 1 year experience in a marketing or communications support role.
