Job Description
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for managing the customer accounts. This includes the following functions; inputting customer orders, validating promotion plans, validating contract pricing, handling customer invoicing, filing, managing over shorts and damage (OS&D) and approving credits and deductions.
 
The CSR is develops and maintains relationships with the external customers and brokers, also internal sales including regional customer managers, demand planners, transportation, raw product, accounting, and plant operations to manage the business.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 
-Input orders through various means: PRMS, JD Edwards, EDI, I-Trade, Food Link, E-Fax, e-mail, phone, etc.
-Customer adherence to order management guidelines.
-Validation of promo items, duration of promo and depth of trade allowance
-Validation of forecasted quantities for promotions
-Manage OS&D?s
-Release invoices
-Filing
-Approving credits & deductions
-Validate customer pricing
 

High school diploma required, Associates Degree in related field preferred.
 
Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, inventory management, replenishment, logistics coordination. Proven success record in meeting and or exceeding customer expectations and building productive customer relationships, and a working knowledge of manufacturing operations. Good communication skills a must. Knowledge of the food industry is a plus.
