Job Description
Provides overall supervision to ensure that Shipping and Receiving goals are met; which includes inventory accuracy, perfect order percentage, case fill percentage, productivity, and on-time dispatch. Ensure employees are taking their scheduled breaks and lunches, finishing their shift on time; and addressing performance issues in a timely manner. Train hourly employees on Department and Company policies such as GMP's, proper picking procedures and filling out required documentation correctly. Monitor and maintain proper rotation of finished goods and placement of aged product. Maintain a safe work environment by training personnel on safety issues, completing safety accident and/or incident reports and recognizing and correcting unsafe conditions or acts. Complete and analyze departmental performance measurements. Lead, coordinate and direct the daily activities of shift personnel engaged in the shipping and receiving of finished goods and all other dock supported supplies. Ensure accurate and timely picking and loading of customer orders by coordinating efforts between dispatchers, selectors, drivers, and carriers.
 
SARBANES OXLEY RELATED CONTROLS:Review KRONOS reports to ensure employees are punching in and out correctly.Sign and date Bill of Lading documents for product shipping out of the facility.
 
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college/university or equivalent experience and 3 to 5 years related warehouse experience. Manager/supervisory experienceAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in a fast paced environment. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Effective written and verbal communication. Ability to work with others in a team atmosphere. Able to follow instructionsComputer literate-Microsoft Office knowledge and experience
