Job Description
Within the Business and Revenue Finance group, the Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Retail Salads and Healthy Snacking Business Segment. Primary responsibilities include product segment analysis, financial modeling, and customer profitability analysis. This person would perform financial analyses for the different Business Management initiatives (i.e. product segment refreshes) and provide important P&L impact information. The position will also communicate vital customer profitability analysis results to Business Management and provide key recommendations to improve the overall segment P&L. The Sr. Financial Analyst participates in monthly forecasting and the annual budget process. Strong financial modeling skills are necessary to be successful in this position.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Financial analysis for the Retail Salads and Healthy Snacking Business Segment
-Analyze impact of and assist in the execution of various Business Management initiatives (i.e., segment refreshes, fuel surcharge adjustments)
-Assist with ad-hoc customer profitability analysis requests from Business Management and Sales
 
EXPERIENCE:
-This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in FP&A. Must also have at least one year of P&L experience.
 
EDUCATION:
BA/BS Degree in Business, Economics, or Finance is required.
 
DESIRED SKILLS:
The successful candidate will possess the following:
-Advanced Microsoft Office skills - especially Excel
-Advanced data mining skills using tools such as Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Analyzer
-Superior Influence management skills
-Strong attention to detail.
-Proficiency in Excel modeling.
-Essbase experience.
-Strong ability to distill vast amounts of data into valuable and actionable recommendations that positively impact the bottom line
-Ability to bring together resources and manage the project to completion, and demonstrate value-added solutions
-Strong English skills, written and spoken.
-Ability to travel up to 5%
-Consumer goods industry and prior contract negotiation experience is a plus.
