Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:
The Finance Manager will track monthly Business Unit operating and financial results & variances, analyze trends, and recommend strategic changes where applicable. Responsibilities also include establishing financial programs that will allow profit determination by product and by customer, developing financial solutions and providing strong leadership in Change Management. The Finance Manager will partner with the Business Unit personnel, act as a knowledgeable source of the Company's financial best practices, and be a strategic thought leader among the Operating Unit Managers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assess new & renewal customers -- includes analyzing and evaluating the viability of customer?s P/L, financial modeling and providing key recommendations to Business and Sales Leadership.
-Qualify customers and new business opportunities. Engage with Sales to establish benchmarks for profitability.
-Lead Monthly Customer Business & P/L reviews with Sales Management.
-Manage staff resources, train, coach, and performance management process.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years experience in the Food Industry environment / in a Finance Management position. Consumer Goods Industry experience a plus.
EDUCATION:
BA/BS Degree in Business, Economics, or Finance is required.
