Job Description
All the quality inspections and reports affecting all products handled by Chiquita Fresh Express in order that to comply with Chiquita Fresh Express quality standards. Will be responsible for the Quality Inspectors (Chiquita and non Chiquita) on his/her facility/location.
Will be required to select samples for quality inspections following Chiquita Fresh Express Quality procedures (Sop?s).
Coordinate Quality reports information with Production Divisions (source), Sales, and Operations.
Coordinate Right Fruit to Right Customers fruit allocation with Sales and Operations to assure consistent quality per customer profile.
Keeping sales team updated on all Quality information.
Coordinate Food Safety program information with sales and sourcing.
Coordinate and supervise evaluations of tests for Innovation department, supervising evaluations and creating quality evaluation reports.
Coordinate with Quality Manager, Quality specs and procedures update.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
HS diploma required. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Desired Qualifications:
Associate or higher degree desired. Minimum 3 years in quality control experience preferred.
