Job Description
Responsible for maintenance of Vacuum Tube Cooling systems, refrigerated warehouse and process spaces, refrigerated production processes and all related refrigeration equipment (compressors, condensers, evaporators, valve sets, vessels, insulation repair, process controls, electrical troubleshooting). Experience with vacuum cooling processes, ammonia refrigeration, halocarbon refrigeration and vacuum pumps, is required. Knowledge of electrical power maintenance (480V) and process controls troubleshooting (PLC level to the device level) required. Basic knowledge of condensing tower water treatment practices required. Experience with HVAC system operation and maintenance a plus; experience with compressed air systems, nitrogen systems, Industrial waste water, potable water systems, and boiler operations a plus. Must own personal tools and be capable of working with a team. Able to use PC with basic skills in word processing and e-mail and able to support the use of an electronic PC based maintenance program.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-Mechanical experience.
-Vacuum pumps, refrigeration compressors, air compressors, hydraulics, condensers, purging, and water treatment.
-Forklift certification. High lift certification.
-This position will require computer skills for inputting of work, schedule, and work orders using D7i, Maintenance software.
-Must have worked in a fast-paced, fresh-food processing environment on process/production equipment for a minimum of 2 years.
-Must be able to read, write and speak English.
-Must maintain a current RETA certification or become certified within the first year of employment.
