Job DescriptionMaintain and control incoming parts and repairs in day-to-day operation. Ensure and maintain necessary inventory level of parts on shelves. Generate reports and enter data in to the D7i Data base system. Support Maintenance Department with proper inventory. Update and organize stock inventory room. Perform inventory of parts on a monthly basis. Coordinate parts for projects and PMs with Maintenance Assistant Supervisors. Coordinate and continue to improve quality of services and deliveries provided by suppliers & OEM. Provide training for associates. Responsible for finding innovative way to control cost and inventory. Provide accurate documentation for business management group. Responsible for the supervision of 2 shift clerks.
Job functions:
-Maintain Maintenance Inventory Stock room.
-Supervise Inventory stock room clerks.
-Manage D7i system counts and rotation of the stock items.
-Select suppliers and improve the quality of service provided by vendors.
-Organize stock room and utilize proper square footage.
-Prepare parts for projects and PMs.
-Continually evaluate and improve stock availability.
-Maintain proper level of the spare stock parts and supplies.
-Provide managers with cost reductions on a monthly basis.
-Generate monthly inventory report and other activities reports in stock room.
SARBANES-OXLEY RELATED CONTROLS:
Provide auditors with proper documentation. Control all incoming and outgoing items and packages.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Three to five years related experience in inventory management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer skills MS Office (Excel and Access), negotiation skills. Mechanical knowledge and basic math skills required.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience with D7i/SQL or AS400 a plus. Supervisory skills. Bilingual Spanish a plus
