Job Description
Edmunds.com, Inc., the premier online resource for automotive information, is currently seeking an Editor, Vehicle Data to join their data research team. This position will be performing data entry and research for assigned manufacturers and will report to the Supervisor, Vehicle Data. The research and data entry will cover all aspects of vehicles including standard features, optional equipment, specifications, configuration logic and vehicle color data.

The candidate should be knowledgeable about the automobile industry and love cars. He/she should also be highly motivated, detail-oriented, flexible and enjoy working closely with others in a team-oriented environment.

Responsiblities (including but not limited to):

  • Researching all aspects of new vehicles
  • Performing data entry
  • Performing data quality assurance
  • Preparing data for delivery

    Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years related experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or business related field is preferred
  • Extensive experience in a Windows environment
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and preferably SQL
  • Strong database skills
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
