Job Description

The Executive Editor will be directly responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the Edmunds.com editorial team.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Manage content and publishing schedule.
  • Maintain a consistent editorial voice across all content and oversee daily staff activities and weekly meetings.
  • Coordinate vehicle scheduling to ensure effective coverage of major market segments.
  • Represent Edmunds.com at media and industry events.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree in Journalism, Communications or English.
  • 10+ years of experience in the automotive editorial field.
  • 5+ years of Editorial, Publishing or Communications Management experience.
  • Familiarity with late-model vehicles.
  • Experience interacting with media (T.V., Radio, Print and Electronic) a plus.
  • Experience with a consumer-oriented and/or automotive publication a plus.
