Job Description
The ideal candidate for the Pricing & Industry Analyst position is someone who has a strong interest in the automotive industry from both a business standpoint as well as an enthusiast. This position will deal with many aspects of the industry from vehicle pricing trends to new car sales forecasting. An interest in automotive will be critical when providing useful insights on used vehicle pricing and specific/niche market data.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Works with the PR group to deliver and interpret data sets needed by the automotive press.
  • Studies data for analysis and reporting for both internal and external use.
  • Coordinates the maintenance of existing data products.
  • Provides assistance to new and used vehicle price tracking functions.
  • Maintaining and enhancing used vehicle valuation products.
  • Facilitates the development of data products for PR and analysis utilizing Excel and/or Access.
  • Assist in new product development and enhancement.
  • Produces ad-hoc reports as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office business applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook) required.
  • Works well under high pressure situations where time is limited.
  • Strong interest in the automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail and superior follow through.
  • 1-3 years related work experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
