Job Description
We are looking to recruit an experienced Compliance & Risk Manager to work in our Dublin Office.
Responsibilities Include:
Reporting to the Managing Director in our Dublin office, the successful applicant will actively manage and take responsibility for all Irish Compliance requirements, and will be the appointed Compliance Officer for the firm.
- Ensuring the Company?s full compliance with regard to required regulation and legislation
- Actively monitoring the changes and updates in Compliance rules applicable to the Company, and understanding the impact to the business
- Oversight of the UCITS Compliance and Risk monitoring function for Irish UCITS funds
- Ensuring the Company?s adherence to AML policies and procedures, working closely with the appointed MLRO.
- Ensuring the Compliance processes and procedures are supported by effective monitoring across the business
- Provide Compliance advice and guidance throughout the business regarding projects, new product development and operational improvements
- Oversight of the Risk Monitoring processes for the Company, ensuring all processes and policies are continually monitored and up to date.
Competencies and Traits Required:
- Degree and appropriate professional qualifications
- At least 10 years relevant experience in a Fund-related company
- Detailed knowledge of the Irish Funds Industry in regard to regulatory requirements
- for both a service provider and Irish Funds
- Good working knowledge of financial products
- Strong client presentation skills and commitment to delivering quality at all times
