Job Description
SCS Engineers has an immediate career opportunity for a PLC Programmer in our Long Beach, CA location.
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
* SCADA software programming, troubleshooting and maintenance
* PLC and other controller software programming
* Technical product support when required
* PLC and HMI Communication configuring and troubleshooting
* Provide training for customers and employees on SCADA applications and process overview
* Project Engineering and Management on multiple projects
* Participate in Project Planning Meetings
* Field Service: Instrumentation calibration, installation and diagnostics
 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
 
* High school diploma in general studies;
* 2 to 5 years experience with programming and networking in both PLC and HMI (Automation Direct/Koyo preferred);
* Software Integration (WonderWare);
* Computer knowledge, including Windows 2000 and XP, MS Office, Adobe products (AutoCAD preferred);
* The ability to perform work independently;
* Strong personal computer skills.
